Proud to Announce!

I have a lot of feels in announcing that I have met the requirements and been accepted as a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers.

Last year I set a goal for myself and I am proud to say it was accomplished. With that said, it still took me some time to complete the application and process for my next step.

It’s funny how we can focus our energy in creating our desires and yet when the opportunity is placed before us we may still hesitate, question or doubt.

What is that?!?!

I refer to it as our “humanism.”

The space where old stories come into play, where we play out the what if scenarios and where staying small keeps us comfortable ~ it’s not so easy to say - here I am!

And yet, that’s the journey of hard work, focus, grit and determination, falling down and choosing to get back up and try one more time because our dreams matter…because WE will know in the depths of our souls if we truly gave it all we could.

I’m looking forward to this next chapter and whatever it may bring because I know with fortitude beautiful things become created when we trust the process.
